About the Project

Designing a Multi-

Cultural Restaurant

I took design as a profession because it gave me the power to address the issues shaping our lives today and the ability to make change. This project takes my passion and applies it to one of the most influential forces in our society today: social media. By creating a booklet that explored the effects of social media in our everday world, along with an impactful billboard advertisement and physical merchandise, I aimed to encourage more thoughtful, conscious use of social media platforms.

Working on this campaign helped me grow not just in skill, but in purpose. It taught me how to design with intention, how to communicate complex ideas clearly, and how to create work that goes beyond aesthetics to make a real-world impact.

Identifying the Problem

What is the problem this brand addresses?

For food lovers eager to explore global flavors, the journey often means hopping from one restaurant to another just to taste dishes from different cultures. This scattered experience can be time-consuming, inconvenient, and often expensive.

What is the solution?

Freshly Yours, a multicultural, eclectic restaurant, solves the problem of limited and monotonous dining choices by bringing together bold, authentic flavors from around the world under one roof. It offers consumers a vibrant, one-of-a-kind experience that satisfies their cravings for diversity, discovery, and connection through food, without requiring them to jump from one brand to another.

Research

Visiting the competitors

While conducting research, I explored numerous restaurants in person, immersing myself in their atmospheres, analyzing menus, and observing how each space brought culture to life. From decor to digital presence, I studied every detail, turning firsthand research into inspiration for crafting my own brand of bold, eclectic multicultural dining experience with Freshly Yours.

Brainstorming

Different brand ideas and peer discussions

To bring my eclectic multicultural restaurant to life, I created several brand identity concepts, each with its own vibe, visuals, and cultural influences. I shared these ideas with a diverse group of peers, sparking insightful conversations about what felt authentic, exciting, and true to the brand. Their feedback helped me hone in on the identity and spirit of the brand I had envisioned.
